For much of 2025 there have been rumours Japan will be hit by a “megaquake” in July leading to summer bookings taking a hit, so much so that Hong Kong Airlines have cut back on flights.
Hong Kong Airlines has cancelled all to the southern Japanese prefectures of Kagoshima and Kumamoto in July and August.
