• Ocean Park losses almost quadruple even though visitors and revenue were up.
• Standard Chartered says Hong Kong weathered Q3 nicely so bumped up the GDP, and also added a few points to the full year forecast.
• And finally, LegCo continues to bleed members, with Doreen Kong announcing she will not run.
Which is a shame, as I have previously mentioned, Kong was one of the few willing to speak out against the majority.
Also retiring is DAB’s Stanley Li, whom I can state honestly, hand on heart, I’ve never heard of.
Meanwhile outgoing Legislative Council President Andrew Leung said on Wednesday that the turnover rate of lawmakers this term is lower than that in the past several terms.
Leung seems to be comparing apples with oranges here, since this was the first “all patriots” Legislative Council.
