1. Uber President Andrew MacDonald penned a piece in Chinese newspaper Ming Pao on Monday, lauding how technologically advanced Hong Kong is, then warned over-regulation on ride-hailing apps would stifle the city.
2. China’s Shandong aircraft carrier group is heading to the city for a 5-day visit.
I’d add the link to get tickets but they were all allocated on Monday via the HK PLA Garrison’s WeChat account.
Don’t feel too bad if you wanted a ticket. Luck would have needed to be on your side.
3. The League of Social Democrats have disbanded after citing massive pressure from pro-government sources.
4. On one hand, it must be applauded that the Hospital Authority still publicly reports sentinel events, but each time they do I shudder.
