Tripperhead Gazette
• Cathay Pacific reported good numbers for last year, and has some fuel hedges to offset the mess in the Middle East.
So the staff get an increased bonus…
… and the company gets some new planes.
• Meanwhile, expect the fuel surcharge to rise soon for Cathay and subsidiaries.
• Meanwhile HK Express posted a pretty big loss.
• The Red Cross has wound up its donation drive for the Tai Po fire victims, with $530 million donated.
$26 million kept in “administration fees”.
• ICAC have charged a bus company worker with soliciting bribes, after the person paying the bribes to continue employment didn’t want to keep paying, so let ICAC know all about*.
*Allegedly (must do the correct legal thing, even though that’s the same information ICAC put in their press release)

Thanks for the catch up Aaron. I missed a lot of this today.
