• A spat is brewing at the very expensive Hong Kong International School, with the founding group threatening to take back the school property from the operating company.
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, founders and owner of HKIS, has initiated legal action against HKIS Association Ltd (who manages the school), informing them that if they don’t adhere to the church group’s operating agreement, they’ll be forced to open a new school on the grounds.

While the threat of a new school is on the cards, a new website showing the proposed Hong Kong Pacific School is likely a pressure tactic on HKISAL to come to the negotiating table. But the website is real!
The HKIS Board has contacted former alumni over the writ.
